Cruisers Net

During the summer GTYC boaters are busy creating memories. There are some places so special you never forget them. Sometimes it’s an extraordinary shore excursion, in other instances it’s breathtaking scenery, historic treasures or time spent exploring on your own.
In the Fall, as the boats are put up we we want to catch up with friends and share the places where we had the most fun, learned a new boating skill, or met a challenge that strengthens our love of our sport.
During the winter the GTYC Cruising Group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. Check the club calendar. All sailing and powerboat cruisers are welcome. Each meeting begins with a potluck dinner followed by cruising stories, seminars, and planning for cruising destinations. For more information contact Lisa Wilmeth.
If you can't make the cruisers night at the club, there are other ways to keep in touch with cruising friends.
The cruisers on-line forum on this website is available 24/7.
Another on-line avenue is through the GTYC Cruisers Group on Facebook. To join the group, e-mail the group's owner for an invitation. If you are already a group member, invite your cruising friends to join.
Also check out the Boaters Galley and the cruiser's blogs page. Some of our members have ventured far and wide - their blogs are perfect browsing for planning a trip or just dreaming the dream.
Thanks for visiting,
Lisa and Fred
